What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and repairing no-cool/no-heat calls on split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers and mini-splits.
- Troubleshooting electrical faults: capacitors, contactors, relays, control boards and low-voltage wiring.
- Checking refrigerant pressures, calculating superheat and subcooling, performing recovery, evacuation and charging to spec.
- Executing airflow, static pressure readings and thorough seasonal tune-ups.
- Performing system changeouts and new equipment installs to high quality standards.
- Documenting job notes, photos and system readings accurately in our digital job app.
Who We're Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years running residential HVAC service calls.
- Certifications: Active EPA 608 Certification required (NATE certification is a major plus).
- Skills: Strong diagnostic ability (diagnose before replacing) and excellent homeowner communication.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to work in attics, crawlspaces and Mississippi summer heat.
- Mindset: Dependable, coachable and willing to participate in a fair peak-season on-call rotation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $22.00 – $50.00+ / hour (based on experience, certifications and skill) + clear path to Performance-Based Pay.
- Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 for experienced techs
